Harlem revival

The former black ghetto is turning into the in district of New York City

In search of affordable living and working space, more and more – mostly white – artists and business people are moving to Harlem. The result is not only a cultural revival of the former black ghetto, which was once a cultural magnet for artists in the 1920s. The gentrified neighborhood is also experiencing an infrastructural upgrade – as well as a social restructuring.
